i met a man today and he told me he was killing time
i get it if you’re chilling fine but why the need for villain crimes
he drowned up 60 seconds in a pool of chloroform
then handed me the bottle like i would want to hold it for him
he grabbed an hour pulled a knife and then he stabbed up in it
it took a half a minute but it left a lasting image
he murmered bout his murder as he pulled his 45
they can hurt me this is worth it but they wont take me alive
he shot the day and shot the night then waited for a week
when one came by he shot it and exclaimed im on a streak
soon months were also added to the long list of the dead
and after killing twelve of those he switched to years instead
then decades came along and they started fighting back
they brought a spiking bat, brass knucks, a knife and gat
they left him lying down, looking mangled but the man survived
only to look up then be strangled by the hands of time

clocks will keep on ticking even after we are through
this ride just keeps on moving and no matter what we do
only certainty is death so until that time is here
